Benefits and losses from the attempt of the coup “in the name of the tank stuck in the circus”

Benefits

  1. The state conducted training of the security forces for the case of a real armed rebellion:
    1. Weaknesses in organization were found:
      1. The absence of MLRS with ammunition along the routes to Moscow, ready to strike the column of rebels;
      2. The potential ability of the rebels to “shoot down everything that flies”;
      3. Insufficient loyal military formations speed of redeployment to prevent the rebellion;
      4. Weak productivity of state propaganda.
    2. Weak and cowardly leaders were revealed:
      1. Those who did not take actions to impede the movement of rebel columns;
      2. Those who did not condemn the rebellion in the media.
    3. Enlisted and non-commissioned officers identified:
      1. Ready to support the rebellion;
      2. Or those who “fell sick” during the mutiny or were absent from the gathering places for other reasons.
    4. Individuals ready to support the rebellion either by active actions or morally “through comments on the Internet” were identified.
  2. A civil war, senseless and merciless, was prevented;
  3. Wagner troops signed contracts with the Ministry of Defense;
  4. Neither the population nor the army, for the most part, supported the rebellion, which created a “pattern of behavior” for the future;
  5. All the security forces leaders learned the lesson “If even the Wagners failed to carry out a coup, then no one will succeed”.

Losses

In the eyes of a not very smart segment of the population (94% of the total population):

  1. The president Putin V.V. “lost his face” not having liquidated the leader of the rebels;
  2. “If no one was shot for the mutiny attempt, then other mutinies can be carried out”, which also creates a “pattern of behavior” for the future.
